Standard MDF cut to your exact sizes, ready for furniture carcassing, shelving, boxing-in, painted joinery and general workshop use.

Choose 6, 9, 12, 18 or 25mm, enter each panel's length and width in millimetres, and the builder prices your whole cut list live from full 3050 × 1220mm boards. Cutting is included in the price, and a minimum charge per board applies, shown before you add to basket. Order anything from a single replacement panel to a full room's worth of components.

Panels are cut on our beam saw in Bolton and supplied square-cut with no edging, ready to lip, edge, prime or paint on site. Free UK mainland delivery. Want to check the board first? Order a sample from the builder.

Sheet size assumed: 3050 × 1220mm. Boards are charged in whole-sheet multiples based on how many sheets your cut list requires. A minimum charge applies per board, and totals are rounded to the nearest £5.

What is standard MDF?
Standard MDF is a smooth, paint-ready medium-density fibreboard for dry interior joinery. It machines cleanly, takes primer and paint evenly, and is the everyday board for carcassing, shelving, boxing-in and general workshop use.
What’s the maximum panel size I can order?
Our standard MDF is supplied from sheets measuring 3050 × 1220mm. Your cut panels must fit within these dimensions — the builder will warn you if any panel is too large.
How is pricing calculated?
Boards are priced per full sheet based on how many sheets your cut list requires. Cutting is included in the price. A minimum charge per board applies and is shown in the builder before you add to basket. Live prices update instantly.
Is edging available?
No — edging is not available on this product. Panels are supplied square-cut. Lip, edge, prime or paint on site.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes — use the “Order sample” button to receive a standard MDF sample so you can check the board before committing to a full order.
Which thicknesses are available?
6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm and 25mm. 15mm is not offered.
