Toilet cubicles for schools and academies

Full-height cubicles for secondary, low-level Blossom for infants, and delivery dates fixed against the six weeks of summer you actually have.

School washrooms usually fail for one of two reasons. The wrong range gets specified for the age group, or the install slips past the first day of term. Everything we make is manufactured to order in Bolton, so cubicle sizes follow your survey rather than a standard sheet, and the despatch date is agreed before production starts.

Secondary schools and sixth forms normally take full-height Smart Range in 18mm MFC, or Ascent MR where cleaning regimes are heavier and moisture is a factor. Primary and infant schools take Blossom, which pairs low-level doors with full-height partitions so staff keep a sightline while privacy between cubicles stays intact.

What we supply

  • Smart Range full-height cubicles

18mm MFC cubicles built full height for secondary schools and sixth forms. Budget-led and robust, specified where sightlines between and around cubicles need closing down completely. Doors, partitions and pilasters cut to your survey.

  • Ascent MR Range

Moisture-resistant MFC, decorative on both faces. The step up for busy secondary washrooms, changing blocks and any area cleaned daily with wet methods rather than dry wiping. Same 7 working day lead time as the Smart Range.

  • Blossom Range for primary

Low-level doors with full-height partitions for primary and infant washrooms. Staff can see over the door without entering the cubicle, and children get privacy from the child next door. Bright colour options throughout.

Why buy direct from the manufacturer

  • Made in our Bolton factory

CNC machining, Homag beam saw, edge banding and assembly all happen under one roof. No merchant markup, no third-party factory, and one point of contact on the programme.

  • Sized from your survey

Every cubicle is cut to order, so awkward duct runs, out-of-square walls and non-standard ceiling heights are dealt with at manufacture rather than on site.

  • Dates fixed before production

Summer programmes are unforgiving. We agree the despatch date against your start on site, and confirm any Highlands, Islands or Northern Ireland surcharge before anything is made.

Common questions

What cubicle height should a secondary school specify?

Most secondary schools go full height. Doors and partitions run close to floor and ceiling so there are no sightlines over or under, which removes the main safeguarding complaint about standard commercial cubicles. Smart Range covers it on budget, Ascent MR where cleaning is wetter. Exact door and partition heights are made to your survey, not a fixed catalogue size.

Which range suits a primary school?

Blossom. It combines a low-level door with a full-height partition, so a member of staff can see over the door from the washroom floor while each child still has a solid divide from the cubicle next to them. For nursery and reception rooms inside a primary school, Tippy Toes is usually the better fit.

Can you deliver during the summer holidays?

Yes, and that is when most school work lands. Cubicles are 7 working days, manufactured in 3 to 5. Order before you break up rather than in week one of the holidays, because the six-week window fills quickly. We will hold a despatch date against your programme once the sizes are signed off.

Do you supply replacement doors for cubicles we already have?

Yes. We make replacement doors, partitions and pilasters to match existing systems, so a damaged cubicle can be repaired rather than the whole run replaced. Send the sizes, the hinge and lock positions and a photo of the fixings. Stock hardware such as indicator bolts and hinges is dispatched in 1 to 2 working days.

What fire performance do school cubicles have?

Fire certification depends on the laminate and core specified for your job, so we do not publish a blanket rating. Tell us what the specification or the fire strategy calls for and we will confirm what we can supply and issue the certificate for that exact board. Do not assume a rating carries across ranges or finishes.

Do you quote for installation?

We manufacture and supply. We do not price installation, and we will not give you an installed rate you cannot rely on. Most schools use their own contractor or the trust framework fitter. We will supply fixing details, hardware and setting-out dimensions so the fit-out team is not guessing on site.
