Bridgewater Direct is the trading name of Bridgewater Laminate Products Limited, incorporated on 31 March 1998 and manufacturing in Bolton ever since. We are the factory. Toilet cubicles, IPS panels, worktops, vanity units, cabinets, shelving and cut-to-size panels are made here, on our own machines, to the sizes on your order.
That matters when you are placing a five-figure order with a supplier you have not used before. There is no importer, no white-label reseller and no trading desk between you and the beam saw. If a size changes on site, you are talking to the people who will cut the board.

Toilet cubicles in five ranges, IPS panels and units, washroom worktops, vanity units, cabinets, shelving and cut-to-size board. All made to order, nothing pulled from a container of imported stock.

Everything happens on our floor
CNC machining, Homag beam saw, postforming, edge banding, assembly and QC all sit under one roof in Bolton. Nothing is subcontracted out and then sold on as ours.

Cut to your sizes
Panels are cut and edged to the millimetre from your schedule, in MFC, MDF, MR MDF, FR MDF and compact laminate. 2–4 working days for standard cut-to-size work.

Made to order, not stocked
Nothing is cut until your sizes are confirmed, so a non-standard width costs the same to make as a standard one. The trade-off is that we cannot take change-of-mind returns.

Do you actually manufacture, or do you factor other people's products?
We manufacture. CNC machining, the Homag beam saw, postforming, edge banding, assembly and QC all run on our own floor in Bolton. Cubicles, IPS panels, worktops and cut-to-size board are made here to your sizes. You are welcome to come and watch your job being cut.
What accreditations do you hold?
Made in Britain, Constructionline Gold, SSIP and Social Value member. Certificates, insurance schedules and material data sheets are sent on request, and we would rather send them at enquiry stage than have you chase them after an order is placed. Ask for anything your procurement process needs before you raise the purchase order.
We have never bought from you before. How does a first order work?
Send sizes, a drawing or a schedule and we quote in writing, exc VAT, with the lead time for that product line stated. You approve the specification, we confirm the order and it goes into the production programme. Nothing is cut until you have signed off sizes, decors and cut-out positions.
What is your lead time?
It depends on the product, and any supplier quoting one blanket figure is guessing. Toilet cubicles are 4–6 working days. Cut-to-size panels 2–4 working days. Worktops, table tops and postformed panels are made to order. IPS panels and units 7–9 working days. Vanity units 4–6 working days. Stock hardware is dispatched in 0–1 working days.
Can we visit the factory?
Yes. We would rather you came to Bolton and looked at the boards, the edge quality and the assembly before you commit a large order. Bring a drawing and we will talk through the build on the floor. Book a slot in advance so the right people are there rather than on a machine.
