Healthcare washroom work is judged on what happens after handover. Surfaces have to survive daily chlorine-based cleaning, junctions have to stay sealed, and duct panels have to open for maintenance without calling a joiner. That is a specification problem before it is a manufacturing one, which is why we quote from your schedule rather than from a standard product list.
We supply IPS duct panels and units, laminate worktops for fitted furniture where HTM 63 is referenced, vanity units, cubicles and cut-to-size panels. Cubicles run on 7 working days. IPS panels, replacement washroom panels and worktops run 8 to 10 working days, all manufactured to order at our Bolton factory.
What we supply
-
IPS panels and IPS units
Duct panels and full units that conceal pipework, cisterns and valves behind a flush, wipe-clean face, with access panels positioned where the maintenance team actually needs them. 8 to 10 working days.

Worktops and HTM 63 fitted furniture
Postformed and square-edge laminate worktops for clinical rooms, sluices and staff areas. Where HTM 63 is referenced in your specification, tell us and we will confirm what the laminate and core can support.

Alpine CGL for wet rooms
13mm compact grade laminate with polished radius edges. Through-colour, water resistant and self-supporting, which is what assisted bathrooms, shower rooms and any hosed-down area need instead of a chipboard core.

Vanity units and sink surrounds
Laminate vanity units with sealed edges and no open joints to hold moisture behind a basin. Made to order on a 7 to 10 working day lead time, sizes taken from your setting out drawing.

Cut and edged panels
Cut-to-size MFC, MR MDF, FR MDF and compact laminate for bed-head panels, casings and boxing. 5 to 7 working days, or 7 to 9 working days for laboratory-grade compact panels.

Why buy direct from the manufacturer
-
Specification checked first
We read the schedule before we quote. If a line calls for something the laminate and core cannot support, you hear about it at tender stage rather than at handover.
-
Certificates for your build-up
Performance and fire certification follows the laminate and core actually specified. Ask and we will issue documentation for that exact combination, not a generic statement about a range.
-
Constructionline Gold and SSIP
Accredited for public sector procurement, Made in Britain manufacturing at Bolton and a Social Value membership, which counts when the framework scores more than price alone.
Common questions
Are your worktops HTM 63 compliant?
HTM 63 is a health technical memorandum covering fitted storage and worktops, and what can be achieved depends on the laminate, core and construction specified for your job. We will not tell you a product is compliant in the abstract. Send the specification, we will confirm what we can build to it, and we will issue the certificate for that exact build-up.
What should we use in an assisted bathroom or shower room?
Alpine, our 13mm compact grade laminate range. CGL is solid through-colour board, water resistant and self-supporting, with polished radius edges and no chipboard core to swell if water gets past a seal. MFC cubicles will fail in a room that is regularly wetted or hosed down, however good the edging is.
Can IPS panels be opened for maintenance?
Yes. Access positions are part of the design rather than an afterthought. Tell us where the valves, traps and isolators sit and we will set the access panels to suit, so the estates team is not lifting a full duct run to reach one isolator. IPS panels and units are 8 to 10 working days from order.
Do the surfaces stand up to chlorine-based cleaning?
Laminate faces are specified for wipe-clean regimes, and CGL is through-colour so surface wear does not expose a different substrate. Product concentration and contact time still matter. Tell us the cleaning regime and we will recommend the face and edge detail, and confirm what the manufacturer states for that laminate.
Can you work to a trust framework or a main contractor order?
Yes. We are trade only and supply NHS estates teams, principal contractors and fit-out subcontractors. We hold Constructionline Gold and SSIP and we are a Made in Britain manufacturer based in Bolton. All prices are exc VAT and everything is made to order, so sizes need signing off before production.
What is the lead time on a full washroom package?
Cubicles are 7 working days, manufactured in 3 to 5. IPS panels, replacement washroom panels and worktops are 8 to 10 working days. Vanity units are 7 to 10. On a mixed package the panel work sets the date, so release the IPS and worktop sizes first if the programme is tight.
