Every shelf can be a different size in one order — measure each spot, name each row, and choose which edges to band (1 long, 2 long, 1 short, 2 short, or all four). Edging is charged per metre; the configurator defaults to one long edge. Maximum single shelf length 2750mm. Over 90 colours in stock across three premium boards. Matching existing furniture? Sizing, cutting, edging & ordering
What is melamine-faced chipboard (MFC)?
MFC is a cost-effective decorative board with a hard-wearing melamine surface bonded to a chipboard core. It offers a clean, consistent finish when edge banded, making it ideal for interior joinery, furniture carcasses, and general fit-out work.
What's the maximum panel size I can order?
Our MFC sheets are 2800 × 2070mm. Your cut panels must fit within this sheet size — the builder will warn you if any panel is too large for the sheet.
How is pricing calculated?
Boards are priced per full sheet based on how many sheets your cut list requires (using total area and a 0.9 yield factor). Cutting is charged per panel and edging is charged per metre. Live prices update instantly in the builder.
What edging options are available?
We apply a close-match melamine edge tape to any combination of edges — 1 long, 2 long, 1 short, 2 short, or all four edges. This gives panels a clean, finished look. Select the option per panel in the cut list.
Which way does the woodgrain run?
On woodgrain colours, the grain runs parallel to the Length dimension you enter (Length column = grain direction). Choose the direction you want the grain to follow before you finalise sizes — when you pick a woodgrain colour, a reminder appears above the cut list.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes — use the "Order sample chart" button to receive the MFC sample chart, so you can check colours before committing to a full order.
Is MFC suitable for wet areas?
MFC has a moisture-resistant core suitable for dry washroom zones and IPS duct panels. For fully waterproof applications (direct water contact), consider our Compact Grade Laminate panels instead.
